This is a great product, I have an original Ipad and it works great. The experience is much more Laptop/Netbook like. Any kind of writing feels much more comfortable with a keyboard. I know we all love our Ipads, but constatnly pressing on flat glass to write leaves a lot to be desired. The case is very well built and overall construction is excellent. Keyboard adds several ouncers to weight, but for me, it's worth it. the only issue I have is that the Quick Start Guide it comes with does not tell you anything at all about the specialty keys the keyboard has. Some are easy to figure out others not. Maybe I am missing something I don;t know but it seems like a glaring omission for such a good product. Bottom line is I highly reccommend it. What I REALLY have an ISSUE with is the amount of false negative information left in user reviews in general. There is a video review that displays the product as unstable and very prone to easily tip over from normal screen touching. Absolutely not true. I have been using it and you can press the screen as hard as you want. Several reviews mention an offending "smell" the product has. The prodiuct has a leather smell, very clean and pleasant. Yes i know it is faux leaher but it smells and feels pretty good. The realities of competitive business are much like politics. The opposition will say anything true or not to make a competitor look bad. I almost didn't buy this because of that negative video review , and it would have been a huge mistake. By Sandra Peavy - Keyboard not good enough to justify the extra size and cost
Careful, the images shown are not correct, it shows the "pro" but you get something else. On this product the keyboard is only slightly better than typing on screen. The whole point is to be able to type fast, right? So this one is pointless. :-) Get the "pro" version. Even when I ordered the "pro" it is supposed to work in landscape and portrait modes, but it does not. It's landscape only. I can live with that, the keyboard is about as good as can be done in the space available, and that is what I was after.(read more customer review)

Have had mine for a month now. Works great, I am not having the problems mentioned in other reviews. I use it mostly when at conferences, meetings, and in cafes - not for heavy typing. I give it only 4 stars because sometimes the connection drops (but if I just turn it off and right back on, the connection resets immediately) and the keyboard doesn't seem to turn off automatically after 15" as advertised (so I just (usually) remember to turn it off). I just received my Kensington PadFolio and so far I really like the look and feel. The only disappointment is that the keyboard is not set up like a "normal" keyboard. It is missing the right "shift" key, which dramatically slows down typing because the only shift is on your left hand. Anytime you have to capatalize a key that you type with your left hand you have to hold down the left shift with your left finger and type the letter. Hard to do and throws off the normal typing, this is my only diappointment so far. Very easy to connect via bluetooth and set up. Stand works well for face time and other similar application. it is such a great device. the leather is smoothe, the stitching is done with with large and high quality thread, the prop works well, the case is secure, it protects the New Ipad, set up is so simple, and it adds no extra weight and minimal size.
