I've only had it a couple weeks, but I'm impressed. The iPad (Note: Generation 1) fits in very snugly and securely. Those tabs don't look like much, but they're solid. The stand function isn't super-secure, but it works pretty well. I have only had this cover for a few days but I am already a fan. I have read other reviews that claim this is not real leather and I have to say I can't tell if it is or not - and I don't care. It seems very durable and I love that I can use it as a stand... That and protecting my iPad were my main objectives and it does both very well. My husbands first comment was that it made the iPad feel noticeably heavier and it does, but that doesn't bother me. Overall I would say it's a great product, fits my first generation iPad perfectly, no adjustments necessary, all buttons and ports are accessible and it seems very durable. This case is just okay. My reasons behind this are that the case is made of nice pleather, not real leather, the only thing that keeps the iPad are little pieces of firm pleather, not the best, it slips a lot, the power button is a little hard to press, and the cravases in it hold the iPad up pretty well although the last one doesn't keep it standing. I've had the case for 6 months. I love it, my friends have seen it and they have purchased the same cases for themselves. I even bought an extra case in the event they become unavailable. What I like best about it is how stable the case is when being used as a stand for an on desk presentation, or low angle for typing. Cons: Some people may prefer a case with a stylus holder, or a case whose stand rotates. I prefer this type, but my wife prefers the other type whose stand rotates to portrait position. Pros: The imitation leather grips well, and does not feel cheap. The case is inexpensive. The case does not interfere with any input devices and does not obstruct the screen like other cases. I highly recommend this case to anyone with an iPad 1, otherwise for the iPad 2 & 3 the Speck Products case is good, but a little more expensive. (read more customer review)
